Description
2 Euros - Henri I from Luxembourg. Issued in 2013. Struck in Bimetallic: nickel brass clad nickel centre in copper-nickel ring. Measures 25.75 mm and weighs 8.5 g.
- Obverse
- The effigy of Grand Duke Henri facing left on the right side of the inner part with musical notation and the text of the national anthem to the left. The text ‘Ons Heemecht’ appears at the top of the inner part along with the country name and the date, which is flanked by the mintmark and the initials of the mint master, appearing at the bottom of the inner part of the coin. The coin’s outer ring bears the 12 stars of the European Union. (Our Hometown Luxembourg 2013)

- A map, next to the face value, shows the European continent without borders.
