5 Hryven from Ukraine. Issued in 2013. Struck in Nickel brass (German silver). Measures 35 mm and weighs 16.54 g.

Obverse

Above - the Small Coat of Arms of Ukraine with the inscriptions thereunder: to the left - НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ (National Bank of Ukraine) and to the right - 5/ ГРИВЕНЬ/2013 (5/ hryvnias/2013); in the center there is depicted a group of soldiers in the course of an attack; to the right thereof is the mark of the National Bank of Ukraine Mint; below there is the inscription ПРОРИВ РАДЯНСЬКИМИ ВІЙСЬКАМИ / НІМЕЦЬКОЇ ЛІНІЇ ОБОРОНИ / ВОТАН (Breakthrough by Soviet Army / in the German defensive line / Wotan).

Reverse

Against the mirror-finished background there is depicted the composition: a star with the inscription 70/років (70/years) and a laurel branch; also there are the circumscription ВИЗВОЛЕННЯ МЕЛІТОПОЛЯ ВІД ФАШИСТСЬКИХ ЗАГАРБНИКІВ (Liberation of Melitopol from the fascist invaders) and the legend 1943 (below).
