5 Hryven from Ukraine. Issued in 2002. Struck in Nickel brass (German silver). Measures 35 mm and weighs 16.54 g.

Obverse
There is the small National Emblem of Ukraine and the conventionalized inscriptions: УКРАЇНА, 2002 (Ukraine/ 2002) (above) and 5, ГРИВЕНЬ (5 / hryvnia) (beneath). There are also depicted some conventionalized flowers and cocks which are embroidery elements of Sumy region, as well as the Mint logotype of the National Bank of Ukraine
Reverse
At the upper part of the coin field and between the circular inscriptions: РОМЕН - РОМНИ (Romny (Romen) there depicted an ancient and a modern town coat of arms against the background of a baroque frame with the inscription: 1100 / РОКІВ (1100 Years); at the lower part of the coin field there is a coalesced depiction of architectural monuments and modern structures of the town
