5 Hryven from Ukraine. Issued in 2002. Struck in Nickel brass (German silver). Measures 35 mm and weighs 16.54 g.
- Obverse
- There is the small National Emblem of Ukraine and the conventionalized inscriptions: УКРАЇНА, 2002 (Ukraine/ 2002) (above) and 5, ГРИВЕНЬ (5 / hryvnia) (beneath). There are also depicted some conventionalized flowers and cocks which are embroidery elements of Sumy region, as well as the Mint logotype of the National Bank of Ukraine

- At the upper part of the coin field and between the circular inscriptions: РОМЕН - РОМНИ (Romny (Romen) there depicted an ancient and a modern town coat of arms against the background of a baroque frame with the inscription: 1100 / РОКІВ (1100 Years); at the lower part of the coin field there is a coalesced depiction of architectural monuments and modern structures of the town
