Description

2 Deniers from France. Issued from 1637 to 1638. Struck in Copper. Measures 20 mm and weighs 2.5 g.

Obverse
Two types of busts under the letters A and B. Older bust, wide collar edged with lace. Beginning of legend at 6 o'clock, smooth circle. Note: - An 8.40-gram piéfort was found. It features the obverse of this type on one side and the obverse of CGKL#286 on the other.
Reverse
Three lilies posed 2 and 1. Beginning of legend at 12 o'clock, smooth circle.
