Bust of Louis XIII, laureate, draped and cuirassed right seen from three-quarters forward, with a collar edged with lace. (The bust of this type resembles that of type 15 but the drape is different and the bust is smaller). Beginning of legend at 6 o'clock, pearl circle or dashes. (Louis XIII, King of France and Navarre.)
Reverse
Three lilies placed 2 and 1. Beginning of legend at 12 o'clock, beaded circle or dashes.
