10 000 Lire from Italy. Issued in 1996. Struck in Silver (.835). Measures 34 mm and weighs 22 g.
- Obverse
- Bust of a young female, representing Italy, facing right inside a toothed wheel (symbolize the Work in Italy). Together with the wheel there are other elements that are symbols of the Italian Republic: the star (right behind the head) and two branches, one of oak and one of olive (below the neck, partially within the wheel) (Italian Republic)
- Reverse
- Inside a toothed wheel one of the Dioscuri, a statue group located in the Piazza del Quirinale, Rome. Together with the statue inside the wheel are also the value, the date and the mint mark. Legend outside the wheel (50th Anniversary of the Proclamation of the (Italian) Republic)
