500 Lire from Italy. Issued in 1991. Struck in Silver (.835). Measures 29 mm and weighs 11 g.
- Obverse
- Bust of Vivaldi to the left, caught in a moment when playing a violin. On the background a particular of the colonnade of the Doge's Palace in Venice and a pentagram right behind his left hand. Author's name below the bust (Italian Republic)
- Reverse
- A composition of musical elements merged with elements typical of the City of Venice. Below a pentagram turns on the right into lines on waves on which sails a gondola. Right above it the Rialto Bridge on right with a pentagram above it and the San Marco Column at left. Three swallows around and the anniversary dates.
