- Obverse
- In low position the upper part of the Globe from which comes out the Tree of Life, whose branches and leaves intertwine and become three doves, symbol of peace and project of the third millennium. Date below the Globe, while the name of the author is inside it. (Italian Republic)
- Reverse
- Early Christian image of Christ Pantocrator taken from the mosaic in the apse of the Cathedral of Cefalù, to represent the value of the laic faith in man and the religious faith in salvation through the sacrifice of God made Man. Value and mint mark below, in exergue.
