- Obverse
- St Michael standing on dragon with both feet, slaying with spear, all within beaded inner circle. Crook shaped abbreviation after HENRIC determines the class V (Henry by the Grace of God King of England and France)
- Reverse
- Legend surrounds the image of a ship at sea with a mast that extends to the outer edge of the coin. A “H” and a Tudor rose appearing either side above a quartered shield of royal arms (By your cross save us O Christ our Redeemer)
