- Obverse
- In low position the upper part of the Globe from which comes out the Tree of Life, whose branches and leaves intertwine and become three doves, symbol of peace and project of the third millennium. Date below the Globe, while the name of the author is inside it. (Italian Republic)
- Reverse
- Saint Francis of Assisi in the act of giving his cloak to a poor, main symbol of solidarity. Below a frieze with value and mintmark in exergue.
