- Obverse
- The stylized German federal eagle, the traditional symbol of German sovereignty, is surrounded by the twelve stars of the European Union, the state name "BUNDESREPUBLIK DEUTSCHLAND", the year of issue, the letter "G" from the Karlsruhe workshop, and the face value "10 EURO". Below the face value is inscribed "SILBER 625" (silver 625‰) so as not to confuse this coin with the cupronickel version. (Federal Republic of Germany 2013 G 10 Euro Silver 625)
