- Ship with crowned royal Scottish arms at the centre. Thistle on the hull of the ship. (James the Sixth, by the Grace of God, King of Scots)
- Reverse
- Crossed sceptres with a thistle at the centre. Surrounded by crowns, thistles and lions rampant. (Sceptres flourish with the pious, Jehova gives them kingdoms and numbers them)
