Obverse
Carlos 3rd armored bust looking right. Surrounded with legend and date at bottom. Mint mark and initials are inverted for 118.2 and upright for 118.1. (Carlos 3rd King of Spain and the Indies by the grace of God)
Reverse
Crowned shield flanked by value surrounded with chain, on exterior ring legend, mint and assayer's initials. (With happiness in both under the look of God)
