- Carlos III armored bust looking right. Surrounded by legend and date at bottom. NOTE: Uses old Carlos 3rd die. (Carlos 4th King of Spain and the Indies by the grace of God)
- Reverse
- Crowned shield surrounded by chain and on the outer ring legend, mint mark and assayer's initials upright. (With happiness in both under the look of God)
