2 Hryvni from Ukraine. Issued in 2013. Struck in Nickel brass (German silver). Measures 31 mm and weighs 12.8 g.

Obverse

Above there is the Small Coat of Arms of Ukraine with the semicircular inscription НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ (National Bank of Ukraine) and the coin issue year indication 2013 thereunder; in the centre there are the images of tachanka (horse-drawn machine gun platform) in relief and horses (dark in colour); thereunder are the coin face value 2 ГРИВНІ (2 hryvnias) and the National Bank of Ukraine Mint mark (to the left).

Reverse

Bears a portrait of Nestor Makhno (to the left) and wheatears with the inscriptions between them ЗЕМЛЯ / ВОЛЯ / НАРОДНА / ВЛАДА (land / liberty / people's / power) (to the right); in between there is the vertical inscription НЕСТОР МАХНО (Nestor Makhno) with indication of the years of his life 1888/1934 to the left thereof.
