2 Deniers from France. Issued from 1592 to 1594. Struck in Copper. Measures 20 mm and weighs 2.5 g.

Obverse
Bust on right, laurelled, cuirassed, flat collar. The design can be round with an inner cross, round with a dot or simple round. Beginning of legend at 6 o'clock, 13 to 14 mm circle. 3 clover-shaped dots between the D and G. Small lily next to or below the different. Lily = Mm Charles ARMAND (1591-1594) Trefoil between D and G = Mg Gilbert ARMAND (or HERMAND) (30/04/1590-1594) Two types of busts, A and B. The first larger, the second smaller and centered.
Reverse
Beginning of legend at 12 o'clock, circle of 12 to 13 mm. Three lilies posed 2 and 1.
