- Obverse
- In the centre on the top - a view of the Bolshoi Theatre, under it - the inscription: "БОЛЬШОЙ ТЕАТР" (BOLSHOI THEATRE), below - the metal sign, the fineness, the fine metal content and the mint trademark, lower - the Emblem of the Bank of Russia (the two-headed eagle designed by artist I. Bilibin). The inscriptions along the rim framed by a circle of dots: at the top — «25 РУБЛЕЙ 1993 г.» (25 ROUBLES 1993), at the bottom — "БАНК РОССИИ" (BANK OF RUSSIA).
