- Obverse
- The face value is surrounded by two branches, one of oak, the other of laurel, evoking the euro symbol. The entire reverse motif is framed by an assembly of lines representing the Hexagon.
- Reverse
- A cockerel bust with a crest and feathers stylized in a contemporary way through the use of materials. It bears the motto "Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité". In the background, the French flag in the heraldic colors of the 10-, 20- and 50-cent coins: horizontal lines for the blue, a flat surface for the white and vertical lines for the red.
