Description
½ Patagon - Albert and Isabella from Duchy of Brabant. Issued from 1616 to 1621. Struck in Silver (.875). Measures 36 mm and weighs 14.05 g.
- Obverse
- Crowned cross of Saint Andrew, a firesteel (briquet or vuurijzer) at its center and jewels of the Golden Fleece hanging below, flanked by crowned monograms (Albert and Elizabeth, by the grace of God)
- Reverse
- Crowned shield with arms of Spain-Austria-Burgundy surrounded by the collar of the Order of the Golden Fleece (Archdukes of Austria, dukes of Burgundy and Brabant)
