- On the right half, a geometrically drawn portrait of His Royal Highness Grand Duke Henri is accompanied, on the left half, by the inscription: "LËTZEBUERG 2014" (Luxembourg).
- Reverse
- Blast furnace from an original drawing of the Belval blast furnace by painter Fernand Bertemes. The inscription "5€" appears in the upper right-hand corner of the composition. The number "5" is micro-lettered with "Stol-Acier-Stahl".
