1 Mark from Sweden. Issued from 1604 to 1606. Struck in Silver (.821). Measures 29.33 mm and weighs 4.94 g.
- Obverse
- Crowned quartered shield with Greater Arms of Sweden (Three crowns of Sweden in first and fourth quadrant; Folkungs Lion in second and third; smaller shield with Vasa Arms in center) divides date at sides. Shield is within a circle with legend outside. (Karl, by the Grace of God, designed King and hereditary Prince of Sweden)
- Reverse
- Radiant sun with Hebrew letters for "Jehovah" within double inner circle with two different legend: King's motto in inner circle and value in letters in the outer one. (God is my comfort)
