- Obverse
- Crowned and armored half-length bust of King Erik XIV facing right, holding sword over shoulder in right hand and the globus cruciger in left (symbols of King's Power). Bust is within circle, with legend outside. (Erik XIV Dei Gratia King of Sweden, of the Wends and the Goths)
- Reverse
- Crowned shield with coat-of-arms of Sweden and inner shield of Vasa arms encircled in a beaded line. A collar is around the shield. King's motto around the rim with date at end (God gives to whom He wishes)
