- In the centre – the emblem of the Bank of Russia [the two-headed eagle with wings down, under it – the semicircular inscription "БАНК РОССИИ" (BANK OF RUSSIA)] framed by a circle of dots and inscriptions, above – the denomination: "ДВА РУБЛЯ" (TWO ROUBLES), below: to the left – indications of the precious metal and its fineness, in the centre – the year of issue "2013 г." (2013), to the right – the fine metal content and the mint trade mark. (Two Roubles Bank of Russia MMD)

- In the centre of the disc on the mirror field – the relief portrait of Smetanina R.P. in sports uniform, to the left – skis in the vertical position, to the right along the rim – the semicircular inscription: "РАИСА СМЕТАНИНА" (RAISA SMETANINA) divided by the little figure of a lady skier.
