- Female figure representing humanity, antiquated, seated on a podium containing the Swedish national coat of arms. She is holding a copy of Alfred Nobel's will in one hand. The other hand holds a laurel wreath raised in salute to the memory of Nobel. On the left, in a square the value and below the square the date with letters E (for Eskilstuna; showing where the coin was struck) and B (the first letter in the surname of the Governor of the Riksbank)
