Description
2 Euros from San Marino. Issued in 2014. Struck in Bimetallic: nickel brass clad nickel centre in copper-nickel ring. Measures 25.75 mm and weighs 8.5 g.
- Obverse
- The designs shows a portrait of the composer Giacomo Puccini. At the right the name of the issuing country, in semi-circle, ‘SAN MARINO’. At the left the inscription ‘G. PUCCINI’ and the mint mark. At the bottom the year ‘2014’.
- Reverse
- A map, next to the face value, shows the European continent without borders.

- Finely reeded with edge lettering: six times the sequence "2 *" or "* 2" alternately upright and inverted
