- Obverse
- Portuguese coat of arms, to the left a sandalwood tree, and below a 16th century ship sailing to the left. Date below.
- Reverse
- A cross ot the Order of Christ superimposed to a map of the Island of Timor, archipelago of Solor above left (North west). Around, several symbols of myths and local traditions, a cobra, a buffalo, a horse, a crocodile, a diadem and a man standing with traditional adornments.
