20 Hryven from Ukraine. Issued in 1997. Struck in Silver (.925). Measures 38.61 mm and weighs 33.63 g.
- Obverse
- There is the Small State Emblem of Ukraine in the center of the composition made with conventionalized depictions of four crosswise located rolls of paper against a background of horizontal lines. On the rolls there are inscriptions: УКРАЇНА, above and 20 ГРИВЕНЬ, underneath in two lines; 1997, the year of coin issue - on the left and designations of Ag 925 and 31,1, coin's pure weight - on the right.
- Reverse
- In the center, there is a depiction of Kyiv City Council building, in which the first Contract Fair took place (from the drawing "The Facade of the old Kyiv fortress" by M.Razhen (1775-1786). On the foreground, there is the Podil embankment from Dnipro side and a moored-two-mast ship. Above on the left, there is a depiction of scales. Around the coin circumference there are inscriptions: КИЇВСЬКИЙ КОНТРАКТОВИЙ ЯРМАРОК (Kyiv Contract Fair) - above and 200 РОКІВ (200 years)- underneath
