Obverse
Against the background of a threefold arch of an Orthodox temple there is depicted the small National Emblem of Ukraine with the coin denomination: 10 ГРИВЕНЬ (10 Hryvnias) under it; on the right in three lines - designation of the metal, its fineness and the coin weight in fineness. There is also the Mint logotype of the National Bank of Ukraine and a the semicircular inscription УКРАЇНА (Ukraine); beneath - the coin mintage year: 2004
Reverse
Against the smooth background of a threefold arch of an Orthodox temple there is a multifigured composition headed by Bohdan Khmelnytskyi, under which there is the date 1654, to the right there is a semicircular inscription: ПЕРЕЯСЛАВСЬКА КОЗАЦЬКА РАДА (Pereyaslav Cossack Council).
