Obverse
The coin features, in a gold-plated medallion, the Golden church in Veliki Preslav (Great Preslav), a lion and a gryphon. Underneath there is the nominal value ‘10 ЛЕВА’ (BGN 10) and the logo of the Bulgarian National Bank with the year ‘1879’ inscribed on the ribbon.
