Description
5 Hryven from Ukraine. Issued in 2014. Struck in Bimetallic: brass centre in copper-nickel ring. Measures 28 mm and weighs 9.4 g.
- Obverse
- Obverse: bears the Small Coat of Arms of Ukraine (above) with the semicircular inscriptions НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ (National Bank of Ukraine) above and П'ЯТЬ ГРИВЕНЬ (five hryvnias) beneath; to the right there is the mark of the National Bank of Ukraine Mint; in the center there is the conventionalized composition: the images of the "Apostolos" (Acts and Epistles) book, the first book printed in Ukraine (Lviv, 1574), with the coin issue year indication 2014 to the left thereof, and, against the background of mountains, a mineral water pump room, the Olesko Castle, oil well pumpjack and the cezve with a cup (beneath).
