1 Poltura from Principality of Transylvania. Issued from 1705 to 1708. Struck in Silver. Measures 19 mm and weighs 1.11 g.
- Obverse
- Portrait of Joseph I of Habsburg in an inner circle, head divides the legend. Legend for ("Josephus Dei Gratia Romanorum Imperator Semper Augustus Germaniae Hungariae Bohemiae Rex" Joseph, by the grace of God, Roman Emperor, Always August, King of Germany, Hungary and Bohemia)
- Reverse
- Crowned Transylvanian coat of arms divides date. It includes to the right, the Hungarian eagle, a sun and a moon at the top are the symbols of the Székely people (a Hungarian people), and the 7 towers for the fortified cities of Transylvanian Saxons ("Siebenbürger Sachsen"). Below the word Poltura and a small crowned shield that divides the mintmark.
