- In the centre of a disc - the emblem of the Bank of Russia (the two-headed eagle designed by artist I. Bilibin), from the left to the right - the inscription "БАНК РОССИИ" (BANK OF RUSSIA), the letters below indicate the metal sign, the fineness, the fine metal content, the mint trademark and the date "1966", above - the Bolshoi Theatre building in Moscow, the inscriptions along the rim: at the top - "БОЛЬШОЙ ТЕАТР" (BOLSHOI THEATRE), at the bottom in two lines - "100 РУБЛЕЙ."
