Dirham - Najm al-Din Alpi from Artuqids of Mardin. Issued from 1152 to 1176. Struck in Copper. Measures 31 mm and weighs 13.02 g.

- Two diademed male heads facing, but turned slightly away from one another above la ilah illa allah, below muhammad rasul allah, at right upwards al-mustanjid billah, at left downwards amir al-mu’minin “no god but God Muhammad is the messenger of God, al-Mustanjid billah, Commander of the Faithful”
- Reverse
- In centre female head facing with a beaded circle interrupted by neck at bottom; hair arranged in six rolls, above: najm al-Din, below alpi ibn il-ghazi, on right upwards ibn artuq, on left downwards: malik diyar bakr “Star of the Faith, Alpi ibn Il-Ghazi ibn Artuq, Ruler of Diyarbakir”
