Description
3 Para and 1 Dengi = 5 Kopecks from Moldavia and Wallachia. Issued in 1771. Struck in Bronze. Measures 42.5 mm and weighs 37.9 g.
- Obverse
- Standing stone (similar to a gravestone) with two crossed bead strings at top. With a crowned "E" emblem standing for Ekaterina II. Then the stone is flanked by the flags from both principalities. And date at bottom.
- Reverse
- Two headed eagle with both heads crowned and a bigger crown at top. A claw holding a sword and the other a staff (or maybe a club). Under each claw the emblem for both principalities. At bottom value and depending on variety the letter "S" standing for Sadagura, where the mint was established. (5 Kopecks)

- Broad oak leaves.
