A soldier writing on the column of the Reichstag, which is covered with inscriptions, in the left hand - a rifle, at the top - the inscription along the rim "55 ЛЕТ ВЕЛИКОЙ ПОБЕДЫ" (The 55th anniversary of the Great Victory). In the lower segment - the face value of the coin in two lines "100 РУБЛЕЙ" (100 ROUBLES), at the bottom - the semicircular inscription "БАНК РОССИИ" (Bank of Russia) and the date "2000" divided by a dot, to the left - the letters indicating the metal sign and the fineness, to the right - the fine metal content and the mint trade mark.
