- In the centre - the Emblem of the Bank of Russia (the two-headed eagle designed by I. Bilibin, lower - the semicircular inscription - "БАНК РОССИИ" (BANK OF RUSSIA) framed by a circle of dots and inscriptions along the rim: at the top - "ТРИ РУБЛЯ" (THREE ROUBLES), at the bottom - the date "2000", the letters to the left indicate the metal sign and the alloy standard, to the right - the fine metal content and the mint trade mark. - The allegorical picture of Russia - a women's figure, holding a baton in her right hand, who leans with her left one on a cartouche with an olive branch, to the left - a stylized picture of the main building of the Bank of Russia with the patterned cast-iron railings before it.
