2 Euros from Italy. Issued in 2015. Struck in Bimetallic: nickel brass clad nickel centre in copper-nickel ring. Measures 25.75 mm and weighs 8.5 g.

Obverse
In the field a composition symbolizing the fertility of Earth: on a semicircle standing for the terrestrial globe, a seed fed by water and about to germinate; above the Earth, a vine shoot, an olive branch and a sheaf of wheat growing out of a tree trunk; above, archshaped inscription “NUTRIRE IL PIANETA”; on the left, initials of the designer Maria Grazia Urbani “MGU”; on the right, acronym of the Italian Republic “RI” and the letter “R” identifying the Mint of Rome; in the middle, logo of the EXPO MILANO 2015; all around, the twelve stars of the European Union.
Reverse
A map, next to the face value, shows the European continent without borders.
