- In the centre — the Emblem of the Bank of Russia [the two-headed eagle with wings down, lower — the semicircular inscription — «БАНК РОССИИ» (BANK OF RUSSIA)] framed by a circle of dots and inscriptions along the rim: at the top — «ДВАДЦАТЬ ПЯТЬ РУБЛЕЙ» (TWENTY FIVE ROUBLES), at the bottom — the year of issue «2001», the letters to the left indicate the metal sign and the fineness, to the right — the fine metal content and the mint trade mark. - In the center — a swimming boat with oarsmen and warriors firing guns, to the left — a half-length portrait of Yermak holding a pole-axe, as well as trees on a rocky river’s bank, to the right — a fortification on a steep bank, at the foot of the bank — four archers in boats, in the background to the left — a swimming boat, to the right — trees on the bank, above, against the background of a river with a tributary — the inscription: «ТОБОЛЬСК» (TOBOLSK), at the top — two foxes holding a crown, a bow and two crossing arrows.
