- Obverse
- In the centre - the Emblem of the Bank of Russia [the two-headed eagle with wings down, lower -the semicircular inscription - "БАНК РОССИИ" (BANK OF RUSSIA)] framed by a circle of dots and inscriptions along the rim: at the top - "СТО РУБЛЕЙ" (ONE HUNDRED ROUBLES), at the bottom - the year of issue "2002", the letters to the left indicate the metal sign and the fineness, to the right - the fine metal content and the mint trade mark. (One Hundred Roubles Bank of Russia SPMD)

- In the centre - an engraving with the image of the St. Ferapont Monastery (the XIVth century), situated on a lake bench, with inscriptions: above the engraving on a ribbon - "ФЕРАПОНТОВО" (FERAPONTOVO), under it - "ДИОНИСИЙ" (DIONISSY); against the background of a stylised cross - the Dionissy's frescos from the Church of the St. Virgin Nativity of the St. Ferapont Monastery: to the left - "St. George", to the right -"St. Metropolitan Peter", at the top - "The St. Virgin with Two Angels", at the bottom - "Christ in the House of Simon and a Sinner". To the left and to the right from the frescos -miniatures of the XVIth century from the "Personal Annalistic Code": at the top - "Construction" and "A Visit to the Monastery", at (the bottom - "A Military Campaign" and "Icon-Painters".
