- Two shields with pointed tops with arms of Salzburg left and the Archbishop right below a hat, date below, in a circle. Legend (start 12h) for "Matheus Cardinalis Episcopus Salisburgensis"
- Reverse
- St. Rupert with salt box at right hand and crozier at left hand, in inner beaded circle, legend around, the mitre divides the legend. (Saint Rupert Bishop)
