Obverse
Aportrait of a king facing right, wearing a crown with three teeth and a globe. Ribbons flow only from the diadem. Bearded face and curled hair. There is a pointed ornament on the crown's globe. The king wears an earring and around his neck a necklace of a single row of beads. There is a single rim around the picture. The Pahlavi legend (Mazda worshipper, the lord (divine) Shapur, king of kings of Iran)
Reverse
The column is adorned with the "royal sign". The figures wear crowns with three teeth and globes.
