- Obverse
- Armored bust right with legend all around. (Agustin 1st. Emperor by the divine providence.)
- Reverse
- Crowned eagle in cactus growing out of a rock in the middle of lake. With wreath at bottom, and date under it. Legend all around. (In his solemn proclamation, Mexico City 24th January 1823)
