Description
10 Euros from Federal Republic of Germany. Issued in 2015. Struck in Silver (.625). Measures 32.5 mm and weighs 16 g.
- Obverse
- The stylized federal eagle with the "10 EURO" face value on the left and the twelve stars of the European Union below. The name of the state "BUNDESREPUBLIK DEUTSCHLAND" (Federal Republic of Germany) and the year "2015" are inscribed on the upper edge of the scroll. Next to the right leg of the eagle is the Berlin mint mark with the letter "A". Below the face value, the words "SILBER 625" (silver 625‰) so as not to confuse this coin with the cupronickel one.
- Reverse
- Portrait of former German Imperial Chancellor Otto von Bismarck with the inscription "200. GEBURTSTAG OTTO VON BISMARCK" above. His birth and death dates are indicated on the side.
- Edge
- Smooth with debossed inscription "DIE POLITIK IST DIE LEHRE VOM MÖGLICHEN".
