5 Roubles from Russia. Issued in 2006. Struck in Bimetallic: silver (.925) centre in gold (.900) ring. Measures 39.5 mm and weighs 47.5 g.
- Obverse
- On the disc – the Emblem of the Bank of Russia [the two-headed eagle with wings down, lower – the semicircular inscription – «БАНК РОССИИ» (BANK OF RUSSIA)] framed by a circle of dots, the letters to the left indicate the metal sign and the fineness, to the right – the fine metal content. The inscriptions on the ring along the rim: at the top – «ПЯТЬ РУБЛЕЙ» (FIVE ROUBLES), at the bottom – the year of issue «2006», the letters to the left indicate the metal sign and the fineness, to the right – the fine metal content and the mint trade mark. - In the centre of the disc – the St. George’s Cathedral (built in 1230-1234) against the background of the St. Michael Archangel Monastery. The inscription at the bottom on the ring along the rim – «ЮРЬЕВ-ПОЛЬСКИЙ» (YURYEV-POLSKY). (Yuryev-Polsky)
