Cleopatra made Caesar the bet to build in the city of Alexandria a sumptuous palace in his honor, in three months. This play presents the scene where the two protagonists inaugurate the palace, the all-powerful Caesar bows before Cleopatra, they are tied. This drawing comes from the album "Astérix et Cléopâtre".
