80 Réis - Maria I from Brazil. Issued from 1787 to 1796. Struck in Silver (.917). Measures 20 mm and weighs 2.22 g.

- Crowned portuguese arms flanked by value 80 and two flowers, and date. (Maria I, by the Grace of God, Queen of Portugal and Lady of Brazil.)
- Reverse
- An armillary sphere in front of the Order of Christ cross, without mintmark. (Under this sign it was born and will remain.)
