Obverse

Within framing of images made of some species of flora and fauna there is the small National Emblem of Ukraine and the inscriptions: НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ/ БАНК/ УКРАЇНИ/ 10/ ГРИВЕНЬ/ 2008 (National bank of Ukraine/ 10/ Hryvnias/ 2008), as well as Ag 925, the designation of metal and 31,1g, its weight in fineness. Furthermore, there is the National Bank of Ukraine Mint logotype.

Reverse

There is a depiction of a black vulture with its baby bird in the nest and there are semicircular inscriptions: AEGYPIUS MONACHUS (above) and ГРИФ ЧОРНИЙ (Black vulture) (beneath).
