AR Drachm from Abbasid Caliphate. Issued from 758 to 785. Struck in Silver. Measures 29 mm and weighs 2.98 g.
- Obverse
- Crowned bust of king right. In front of the face and behind the head pehlevi legend. A counterstamp (Bukharian tamgha) applied in the field. (King of Bukhara al-Mahdi)
- Reverse
- In the center of the coin fire altar with a head of Ahura Mazda to the right. On both sides of the altar figures of attendants (mobeds).
