Description
½ Gros - Elisabeth of Görlitz from Luxembourg. Issued from 1433 to 1443. Struck in Silver. Measures 22.37 mm and weighs 1.45 g.
- Obverse
- Large eagle with outstretched wings, head to the left, dividing the legend at 12 o'clock. The talons hold a quartered coat of arms of Bavaria-Palatinate on the right and on the left the Luxembourgish shield with the rampant lion crawling on a field of six pieces. The two crowns divide the legend. Legend between two pearled circles. (Elisabeth of Görlitz, duchess in Bavaria and Luxembourg)
