- Portrait to the left of Marie-Adélaïde (1894 - 1924), surrounded by legend. Below the bust the letter F and in the neck the word ESSAI
- Reverse
- Face value in two lines, above the date, surrounded by a crown of oak branch. At the bottom of the coin the motto of the grand-ducal family: "Je maintiendrai".
